A new contender for US Federal Privacy Regulations supporters called Privacy for America has shown up. They are formed by multiple US Advertising Groups such as Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and more.
US Federal Privacy Legislation has always been a mixed bag – there are equally supporters on each side. Naysayers say that state with their own unique industrial characteristics should have their own say about data protection and its burden. Firm supporters insist that a US Federal Privacy Legislation will simplify a complicated process and make it truly a standard. After all, if Europe can pass their GDPR regulation, why can’t United States do it?
